"The Truth About The Paid Survey Scam!"

It's a trap I wouldn't wish on anyone!

Here's my story...

(I combine this with a review of LegitOnlineJobs.com- That's where I got my lesson)

Like anybody else, when I made the decision to try to work from home, my first goal was to find out how without coughing up my reserve money.  Looking things over, I found a lot of "scammy" looking offers, stuff that seemed far too good to be true, some really expensive offers, and LegitOnlineJobs.com.  After studying their site, and reading more about them, I decided to make the plunge... after all, they are "legit", right?

The thing that excited me most was the offer of 24/7 help available by phone.  So as soon as I sent in my payment--for the deluxe membership--I made the phone call, eager to get started. I was also directed to Clickbank, where I signed up.

Of course I found out later that signing up for Clickbank is free.

So what did I get for my $65?

A receptionist took my name and number, and told me that an expert would call me shortly.  As I waited for half an hour, I surfed the site to explore my new possibilities- Photos, Surveys, "Real Jobs" and much more.  I downloaded the book on earning money through surveys and read it as I waited.

When the call came in, "my own personal tutor" asked me just how serious I was about beginning a career online.  I answered honestly... VERY serious!  He informed me that the training was intensive, and asked about how much I wanted to earn yearly.  Again, I answered honestly, I need at least $30k to stay afloat.  He told me that in order to learn how to make that, I'd need to pay them $3000, and our training could begin immediately.

He also expected me to have my husband call him to give him permission for me to do this training...

WHAT?!

I told him that I was not going to pay him that money, but even if I was, it was my money, not my husband's- so that was pretty inappropriate.  He got prickly, rude, and told me to call him when I had the money if I wanted to succeed-- he then hung up on me.

I began to think I was in the wrong place.

So I opted for the survey thing, until I could figure something else out.  The e-Book mentioned that in order to see any real money add up, one needed to sign up with at least 150 sites, but eventually more like 300 sites.  I decided to go for it, and allow myself the time to build my business.

This brings me to the Paid Survey part...
